It’s been said, “Great things come from small beginnings.” The proverb couldn’t ring more true for The Salvation Army’s REALTOR® Ring Day, which will be Friday, Dec. 1, 2017.

The event started in North Dakota, one of the least populated states in the country, and has spread to 30 states with REALTORS® all raising money on a single day for The Salvation Army.

REALTOR® Ring Day was created to give real estate professionals an opportunity to support a cause that is dear to them, housing. Red Kettle donations support the Army’s housing facilities and programs in the Fox Cities such as Project Home, Transitional and Scattered Site Housing.  Throughout the country, The Salvation Army provides nearly 10 million nights of emergency, temporary, and permanent housing each year.

In the Fox Cities the Salvation Army has teamed up with
the Realtors Association of Northeast Wisconsin to help recruit volunteers to ring at the red kettles during the Christmas campaign.

Since its start in 2010, REALTORS® from across the country have been giving back to their communities.  We are asking for volunteers to sign up to ring for 1 or 2 hours (or more) in Dec. 1 (or sooner).  Call Kathy at 955-1225 to volunteer to ring bells or use the online registration: and folks can select a time and location at more than 50 retails sites in the Fox Cities.
